Because we used everything else first. We have been doing this since 2004. Philips and square drive screws strip much more easily that Torx drive screws, which are designed to withstand very high amounts of torque (hence the name). In short, Torx is the best available. We have spent more time and money researching screws than we care to talk or think about.
